Born at Ilesa, Osun State over two decades ago, Onarinde Fiyinfoluwa has paraded his poetic ingenuity and penchant to bring to the fore the reminiscences of the past into the present.
This inchoate urge was drummed in his first anthology entitled: BIRTH OF AN AFRICAN POET, in which his passion and unalloyed adoration is given to the African Culture. His Admiration for Africanism and the recent upsurge all over the African Continent and beyond of democratic forces also
pervades through through his poetry. Onarinde is published in several international journals. He contributed to the World Peace world Healing poetry collection conveyed by Inner Child Press bassed in USA. He has performed in different literary national poetry events including the International Conference of Students of English Language in Nigeria.
The poet is a member of the Association of Nigerian authors, the Writehouse Collective, HIVOS, Africalia, Puma Creative Africa, ARTerial; a joint founder of the PacessterPoets and the founder of AfriqueArts a non=governmental organization that explores the versatility of the arts to campaign
against AIDS and raise funds to provide jobs for unemployed youths in Nigeria.
Suffice it to say that his academic cum-experience has spurred him to writing series of literary works, journals. Onarinde is currently a graduate student of Literature of the Department of English University of Ibadan, Nigeria
